GP hits 5m 4G-customer mark
DHAKA, Nov 7, 2018 (BSS) – Grameenphone has bagged five million base of
4G customer within eight months of introduction of the 4G internet service.
In February this year, Bangladesh entered the 4G era with rapid coverage
expansion by the mobile phone operators.
“We are humbled by the trust that the customers placed on our network and
services,” said Grameenphone Deputy CEO and CMO Yasir Azman.
Currently, over 36 million customers use the internet in Grameenphone’s
network making it the single largest internet service provider in the
country, a GP press release said today.
“While rolling out the 4G network, we focused on quality rather than
quantity aiming to provide the best 4G experience to our valued customers,”
Azman said.
