DHAKA, Nov 7, 2018 (BSS) – A four-member delegation led by Mikhail Bronnikov, Representative of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, Russia paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman today at his office.
Chairman of the Department of Physics of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Abdus Sattar, Chairman of the Department of Nuclear Engineering Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam and Prof. Dr. Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan were present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes on nuclear engineering by the University of Dhaka and National Research Nuclear University, Russia.
They have agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard soon.
