AGRICULTURE-INCENTIVES (with picture)
160 farmers get agri-incentives in Birampur
RANGPUR, Nov 06, 2018 (BSS) – The Department of Agriculture Extension
(DAE) distributed special agriculture incentives in terms of wheat seed and
fertilisers among 160 small and marginal farmers of Birampur upazila in
Dinajpur today.
The special incentives were distributed at a function held on Birampur
upazila agriculture office premises to assist the beneficiary farmers in
cultivating wheat during this Rabi season.
With Birampur Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Nixon Chandra Paul
in the chair, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tauhidur Rahman attended the function
and distributed the incentives as the chief guest.
Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Agriculturist Sompa Akhter, Upazila
Vice-chairman Zinnatun Nesa, union parisahd chairman Rahamat Ali and
Councilor of Birampur municipality Mizanur Rahman attended the function as
special guests.
