Air chief off to China
DHAKA, Nov 5, 2018 (BSS) – Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal
Masihuzzaman Serniabat along with his spouse and two entourages left here
today for China on an official visit at the invitation of PLA Air Force
Commander and President of China National Aero-Technology Import and Export
Corporation (CATIC).
During the visit, he will attend the 12th China International Aviation,
Aerospace Exhibition (Zuhai Air Show) and the 5th International Military
Flight and Training Conference to be held in China, an ISPR press release
said.
Later, Serniabat will pay a courtesy call on the PLA Air Force Commander.
During the meeting, they will exchange views on the issues to bilateral
interest.
Besides, the Chief of Air Staff will also exchange views with Defence
Minister of China. During this tour, he will visit National Defence
University of Beijing, AVIC, Chengdu Aircraft Industry and various civil and
military installations in China.
It is expected that the visit of the Chief of Air Staff will play an
important role in strengthening the existing friendly relationship between
the air forces of the two countries.
