ACC stops taking extra money for SSC from fill-up

DHAKA, Nov 4, 2018 (BSS) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today
stopped taking extra money for from fill-up of the SSC examination after
conducting a drive in a school at Hazaribagh in the city.

The sudden drive was conducted at Saleha High School and College following
receipt of allegations of charging extra money than the fixed one by the
government.

“It is completely immoral to take extra money to fill-up SSC from. The
commission is set to conduct regular drive to stop such acts,” said director
general (prevention) Sarwar Mahmud of the ACC.

During the drive, an ACC team has found that the school authorities have
taken Taka 4,000 instead of Taka 1,500 fixed by the government for from fill-
up in taking part in the upcoming SSC examination of 2019, deputy director
(public relations) of the ACC Pranab Kumar Bhattcharjee told BSS.

Headmaster Nazrul Islam of the school has assured of stop taking extra
money from SSC from fill-up.
