17 rivers register rise, 64 fall

DHAKA, Nov 3, 2018 (BSS) – Water levels in 17 river stations monitored by
Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 64 stations
recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, seven are steady, a bulletin
issued by FFWC said today.

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and the Ganges-Padma rivers are in falling trend
which may continue in next 5 days.

The major rivers of Upper Meghna basin are in falling trend, which may
continue in next 72 hours.
