Cafe fire kills 3 in Baku, Azerbaijan
BAKU, Nov. 3, 2018 (BSS/XINHUA) – Three people were killed in a fire that broke out Saturday morning in a cafe here, the country’s Ministry of Emergency said.
Emergency and firefighting crews found three bodies at the scene, two of whom were young men and one still unidentified, the ministry said in a statement.
The three are believed to have died of smoke inhalation when the cafe, situated in the basement of a four-storey residential building, was engulfed in flames.
The fire has already been put out and authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, which damaged part of the cafe.
