Two held over auto-rickshaw driver killing in city
DHAKA, Nov 3, 2018 (BSS) – Police in separate raids on Friday night
arrested two main suspects in the killing of auto-rickshaw driver Md Rashed
from the city’s Sabujbagh thana areas.
“We, in separate raids at Titash Road and Chhoto Bottala areas, arrested Md
Zahid Hasan Apu, 25 and Solaiman, 18, for their direct involvement in
slaughtering driver Rashed to death after looting his valuables and auto-
rickshaw on October 31,” a police official said.
Police personnel also recovered a knife used in the killing and a mobile
phone set from their possessions, he also said.
A case was lodged with Sabujbagh Police Station to this end.
