Cabinet Division to launch NSSS action plan on Sunday
DHAKA, Nov 2, 2018 (BSS) – The Cabinet Division is going to launch the National Social Security Strategy (NSSS) Action Plan on Sunday at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the city.
Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will attend the launching function as the chief guest while Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon and State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan will be present as special guests.
Coordination and Reforms Secretary of the Cabinet Division NM Zeaul Alam will deliver the brief on the action plan at the function, to be chaired by Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam. Additional Secretary of the Cabinet Division AK Mohiuddin Ahmed will deliver the welcome speech.
The action plan launching ceremony will be followed by a three-day conference and a fair on social protection where recent issues and achievements of different social protection implementing agencies of the government and NGOs will be showcased and discussed.
The objectives of the launching ceremony and conference are to enhance visibility of the government initiatives to reform social protection system of the country.
All social security programme implementing ministries and leading NGOs in the similar field will take part in the National Social Security Fair.
