Sheikh Hasina establishes rule of law in Bangladesh: Shahriar
RAJSHAHI, Nov 2, 2018 (BSS)-State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar
Alam, MP, has said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has established the rule of
law in the country.
He also said Bangladesh has now been established as a dignified nation in
the world by dint of the dynamic leadership of the prime minister.
“The present government has been implementing diversified programmes to
transform the young generation into worthy citizens,” he added.
The state minister was addressing a meeting organized on the occasion of
observing the National Youth Day in Bagha Upazila Parishad hall room in the
district on Thursday.
“Youth awaken to build Bangladesh, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh” was the main
theme of the day.
Chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahin Reja, the meeting was addressed,
among others, by assistant general manager of Bangladesh Rural
Electrification Board Shahinul Alam Mridha, Youth Development Officer
Shakhawat Hossain, Bagha Pourasava Mayor Shahinur Rahman and Arani Pourasava
Mayor Muktar Ali.
Shahriar Alam said Sheikh Hasina should be brought to power again for
building a Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman.
“Massive developments have taken place in all sectors in the last 10
years. We need more developments in the greater national interests to realise
Bangabandhu’s dream of building a prosperous Sonar Bangla,” he added.
The present government has been working to turn Bangladesh into a middle
income country during the golden jubilee of the independence in 2021 and a
developed country by 2041.
There is no alternative to build the youth force skilled in modern
technology for achieving the goal. The youths are the main force to establish
a digital, knowledge-based and peaceful society.
Alam expressed his optimism that the youths will contribute to building
Sonar Bangla, the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman, through highest utilization of their talent and vigor.
