4.0-magnitude quake jolts northern Myanmar
YANGON, Nov. 2, 2018 (BSS/XINHUA) – A 4.0-magnitude earthquake jolted
Myanmar’s Kachin state on Friday, said a release from the meteorology and
hydrology department.
The quake struck at 00:32 a.m. local time (1802 GMT Thursday), the release
said.
Its epicenter was 19.3 km southeast of Myitkyina, capital of Kachin state
and 30.6 km south of Myitkyina seismological observatory.
No damage is reported due to the minor quake.
