9th founding anniversary of ‘Anandasala’ celebrated in JU
SAVAR, Nov 1, 2018 (BSS) – The 9th founding anniversary of ‘Anandasala’,
an education center for the children of special needs in Jahangirnagar
University (JU) was celebrated today on the campus here.
To mark the day, a discussion session was held at the senate hall of the
university this afternoon where Chairman of Dhaka Zilla Parishad Freedom
Fighter (FF) Mahbubur Rahman was present as the chief guest.
Addressing the function, FF Mahbubur Rahman announced to construct a
building for ‘Anandasala’, on the campus with the assistance of Dhaka Zilla
Parishad.
JU Vice Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam presided over the function.
She expressed gratitude to Dhaka Zilla Parishad for enhancing their
helping hand for the development of the children of special needs under this
education centre.
Conducted by Director of ‘Anandasala’ Professor Mohammad Hanif Ali, JU Pro
VC (Education) Professor Nurul Alam addressed the function among others.
After the discussion session, a cake was cut to celebrate the founding
anniversary
‘Anandasala’ was founded on October 9 in 2009.
