Jubo league worker killed in Mirsarai
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 1, 2018 (BSS) – A Jubo League worker was killed at middle
Wahedpur village under Mirsarai upazila on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Shaha Alam, 32, son of Ali Akbar, hailed
from middle Wahedpur village under Mirsarai upazila.
Zahedul Kabir, Officer-In-Charge of Mirsari thana, said that Jubo league
worker Shaha Alam had an enmity with two alleged drug traders Raihan and
Sohel over controlling supremacy in the locality.
Following the enmity, Raihan, Sohel and along with their other
accomplices forcibly took Shaha Alam to Pahar Dhalar Tila at 8 pm last night
and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him injured.
Later, locals brought him to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CHCH)
where the attending doctors declared him dead at 11 pm last night, said
Assistant Sub-inspector Ala Uddin Talukder of CMCH police outpost.
Police carried out drives for detaining the culprits, OC added.
