BCB XI -Zimbabwe practice match ends in a draw
CHITTAGONG, Oct 31, 2018 (BSS)- The result of the rain-hit lone three-day
practice match between Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) XI and visiting
Zimbabwe finally came to an expected close as the match ended in a tame draw
at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Wednesday.
Zimbabwe, resumed their first innings on the third and final day with
overnight score of 12 for 1 and finally declared their first innings at 145
for 5 after rain washed out the entire first day and consumed almost the
second day of the play.
In reply, BCB XI started their first innings in the afternoon and scored 56
for 2 at stumps.
The first Test of the two-match Test series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe
will begin on November 3 in Sylhet. The visitors lost the three-match ODI
series 3-0 to Bangladesh.
