13 rivers register rise, 69 fall

DHAKA, Oct 31, 2018 (BSS) – Water levels in 13 river stations monitored by
Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 69 stations
recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, ten stations have been
registered steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said today.

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and the Ganges-Padma rivers are in falling trend
which may continue in next five days.

Except Surma, other major rivers of Upper Meghna basin are in falling
trend, which may continue for the next 48 hours.
