DHAKA, Oct 31, 2018 (BSS) – Police on Tuesday held a person for
spreading false and instigating speeches through YouTube channels aimed at
creating hatred among different communities from the capital’s Kafrul area.
“We arrested one Md Morshed Alam Miazi, 24, from Parbata area under
Kafrul Police Station for his involvement in creating outrage among different
communities broadcasting false and fabricated speeches on his YouTube
channels, AR TV and Bangla Tube Info,” said a police official an official.
The cyber security and crime division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)
also seized various electronic devices used for operating the YouTube
channels, he also said.
A case was also lodged with Ramna Police Station to this end.
