CHATTOGRAM, Oct 29, 2018 (BSS)- Three persons, including a father and his daughter, were killed after being hit by a train in Madambibir Hat area of Bhatiary under Sitakundu upazila of the district on Sunday night.
The victims were identified as Abul Kashem, 45, his 13-month-old daughter and an unidentified elderly man aged around 60.
Mustafiz Bhuiyan, officer in charge of Railway thana police said three persons including a father and his daughter died on the spot after a rail engine knocked them from behind at Madambibir Hat area of Bhatiary under Sitakundu upazila of the district at 9 pm last night.
Wife of victim Abul Kashem was also injured in the accident. She was admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital. , said Alauddin Talukder, Sub-Inspector of CMCH police outpost.
