European stock markets rebound at open
LONDON, Oct 29, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – European stock markets rebounded at the
start of trading on Monday, with investors in London awaiting Britain’s
latest budget announcement ahead of Brexit.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.5 percent to 6,973.45 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index climbed 0.6 percent to 11,270.67
points, while the opening of the Paris CAC 40 was delayed due to a technical
issue.
