RAKUB officials to attain business targets
RANGPUR, Oct 29, 2018 (BSS) – Chairman of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank
(RAKUB) Muhammad Nazrul Islam has directed field level officials to attain
the set business targets for the current fiscal year and render best banking
services.
He passed the direction at the Performance Assessment Meeting-2018 of the
Branch Managers’ of Rangpur and Kurigram Zones at the conference room of
Parjatan Motel in the city on Sunday as the chief guest.
The meeting elaborately discussed performance in achieving the set
business targets of all branches under the two zones of the bank and future
work plans to achieve the targets for the current fiscal.
The meeting also assessed performance in increasing capital, distribution
and realisation of loans, classified loans, possible classified loans,
realisation of blocked loans and other action plans for achieving the
business targets during this fiscal.
With Rangpur Divisional General Manager of RAKUB Rakibur Rahman Khondker in
the chair, Managing Director (Current Charge) of RAKUB Kazi Alamgir attended
the meeting as special guest.
Nilphamari Zonal Manager Aminul Haque and Nilphamari Rangpur Divisional
Audit Officer of RAKUB Golam Mehzabeen, its Rangpur Zonal Manager Nabiul
Karim, Kurigram Zonal Manager Nazrul Islam, Rangpur Zonal Audit Officer Anwar
Hossain, Kurigram Zonal manager Mostafizur Rahman, all 47 Branch Managers of
Rangpur and Kurigram Zones were present.
The RAKUB officials laid emphasis on disbursing adequate agriculture loans
to enhance crop production, boost pisciculture and animal husbandry to attain
faster growth in the most prospective agriculture sector of the region.
They suggested for enhancing supply of raw materials to the agri-based
industries in the region to boost manufacture of processed agri-products to
increase exports and earn more foreign currency for strengthening national
economy.
The chief guest directed RAKUB Branch Managers to work with utmost
sincerity for attaining cent percent targets to make the bank profitable side
by side with ensuring best banking services to clients for enhancing economic
activities.
