HSBC profits up 28% at $5.9 bn in third quarter
HONG KONG, Oct 29, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Banking giant HSBC said on Monday that
pre-tax profit rose 28 percent to $5.92 billion in the third quarter of the
year, citing “strong revenue growth” in its main global businesses.
Adjusted pre-tax profit also rose 16 percent on-year to $6.2 billion, the
bank said.
