KMRF gives scholarships to meritorious students
SIRAJGANJ, Oct 28, 2018 (BSS) – A total of 1,627 meritorious students,
who got GPA-5 in this years’ JSC (Junior School Certificate) and JDC (Junior
Dakhil Certificate) from 97 schools, were honored by Khwaja Mozammel Hoque
(R) Foundation (KMRF) today in Raiganj upazila of the district.
KMRF, the Sufi based welfare organization (KMRF) also distributed
stipends and honorary certificates to 351 students of Class VIII and X.
KMRF Chairman Nahim Razzaq Khwaja Tipu Sultan, who attended the ceremony
as chief guest, gave away the certificates and crests among the successful
students at the Salanga Islamia High School in Sirajganj.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mousumi Mahbub, District Education Officer Md
Shafi Ullah, School Managing Committee President Alhaj Md Raihan Gafur,
Officer-in-charge of Salanga Police Station Tajul Huda and Salanga Islamia
High School Headmaster Mohammad Shahidul Islam addressed the function, among
others.
Deputy Commissioner Kamrun Nahar Siddiqa presided over the ceremony.
