Two held with 62-kg ganja in Syedpur
RANGPUR, Oct 28, 2018 (BSS)-Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) seized 62-
kilogram of ganja and arrested two alleged drug traders from Paschim
Patwaripara of Syedpur upazila town in Nilphamari district on Saturday
evening.
RAB sources said a special team of the force led by Major ATM Nazmul Huda
raided the house of one Ebraul Hossain Patwari in the area around 7 pm.
The elite force seized 62-kilogram of specially packed ganja buried in the
cowshed of the house and arrested the two drug traders from the spot.
Owner of the house Ebraul Hossain Patwari, however, managed to escape the
scene during the raid.
The nabbed drug traders were identified as Monnat Ali, 25, son of Mozammel
Haque and Sayeed Hossain, 17, son of Ebraul Hossain Patwari of Paschim
Patwaripara.
The arrested drug traders were handed over to Syedpur Thana police after
filing a case in this connection.
