Daylong V-day Kho Kho meet held
DHAKA, Dec 20, 2017 (BSS)- The daylong Victory Day Kho Kho competition
held on Tuesday at Paltan ground adjoining Bangabandhu National Stadium in
the city, said a Bangladesh Kho Kho Federation press release today.
In the women’s section, Chandpur district emerged champions beating Dhaka
district while Quantum Foundation emerged champions defeating Dhaka district
in the men’s section.
Earlier, Liberation War Affairs Secretary Aparup Chowdhury inaugurated the
meet as the chief guest.
After the competition, Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy
handed over the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
National Sports Council Secretary Masud Karim, Additional Secretary of
Disaster Management and Relief Ministry Mohammad Mohsin, Chairman of
Mercantile Bank AKM Shahed Reza were also present, among others, on the
occasion.
Selected eight men’s and women’s district teams took part in the meet,
organised by Bangladesh Kho Kho Federation.
