BNP’s calls for movement appear futile: Quader
TALTOLI, Barguna, Oct 27, 2018 (BSS)- Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said BNP failed to hold any movement against the government in last 10 years and they would not be able to do so in future.
“BNP declared for waging movement. Around 10 years have been elapsed. Twenty Eids have also passed…But they didn’t wage any movement,” he said, speaking at a public meeting of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Taltoli Government High School ground here.
Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said BNP is a ‘complaint party’. “They (BNP) lodged complaint at the United Nations (UN). They also lodge complaint to foreigners”, he added.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury and local lawmaker Direndra Debnath Shambhu, among others, spoke at the meeting with AL Taltoli Upazila unit President Rezbul Kabir in the chair.
