DHAKA, Oct 27, 2018 (BSS) – The government has released Taka 558.9150 crore as honorary allowance for the freedom fighters for three months from October to December in the second phase under the fiscal 2018-19.
Each freedom fighter is getting Taka 10,000 per month, an official release issued by Liberation War Affairs Ministry.
The release added that a total of 407 freedom fighters have been included in the list anew in the current fiscal.
The ministry has given necessary instructions to the concerned authorities to disburse the allowance to the selected freedom fighters through bank accounts.
According to the decision of 24th meeting of the Jatio Muktijoddha Council (Jamuka), the list of freedom fighters will be scrutinized at the upazila level.
