2 children drown in Gopalganj
GOPALGANJ, Oct 27, 2018 (BSS) – Two minor children drowned in a pond in Kotalipara upazila of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Limi Rao, 07 and Odri Sarker, 06. They were the residents at Bagan Uttorpara in the upazila. Both Limi and Odri were the students at Bagan Uttorpara Govt Primary School.
Schoolteacher Sonia Akter said they drowned in the pond in the morning when they were returning home from the school.
Officer-in-Charge of Kotalipara Thana Md Kamrul Faruq confirmed the incident of drowning.
