3 top Jammat leaders held in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Oct 26, 2018 (BSS)- Chattogram Metropolitan Police arrested
three top leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami from different areas of Bakalia thana in
the city on the charges of plotting subversive acts today.
The arrested were identified as Jammat-e-Islami Nayeb Ameer Professor
Ashanullah, central leader Mohammad Shahab Uddin and city unit Jammat leader
Mohammad Ashadullah.
Police nabbed the Jammat leaders while they along with some others were
holding a secret meeting to commit subversive activities, said Pranab
Chowdhury, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bakalia thana.
Besides, huge documents with planning sheet for committing subversive
activities were recovered from their possession during the drive, the OC
added.
