CHITTAGONG, Oct 24, 2018 (BSS)- Bangladesh’s wicket-keeper Mushfiqur Rahim joined the two hundred club as he took his 200th scalp behind the stumps today during the second ODI against visiting Zimbabwe at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium here.
His tally before the game stood at 198 dismissals with 156 catches and 42 stumpings.
The wicket keeper today reached the landmark of his 200th dismissal by taking the catch of Sean Williams off Mohammad Saifuddin’s delivery. He took three catches behind the stumps today and his tally stands at 159 catches as wicket-keeper and 42 stumpings.
The dominative cricketer made debut as Bangladeshi wicket-keeper against Zimbabwe back in 2006. He represented 194 matches for Bangladesh as the wicket-keeper with the highest number of dismissals for the country. Khaled Masud Pilot, who played 126 matches for Bangladesh, is ranked second with 126 dismissals.
