BUET associations to honour three National Professors
DHAKA, Oct 24, 2018 (BSS) – Two associations of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) will honour newly appointed National Professors- Dr Zamilur Reza Chowdhury, Professor Anisuzzaman and Professor Rafiqul Islam- for their outstanding contributions to the education sector.
BUET Teachers’ Association and BUET Alumni Association are jointly going to organize a reception ceremony for them on Thursday (25th October, 2018) at 5.30 pm. The reception will take place at BUET Central Auditorium.
In this program, Professor Dr. Shamsuzzaman Khan, Bangabandhu Chair, Islamic University will present the keynote speech on education, culture and recent thoughts.
Professor Syed Azizul Haque of Department of Bangla, Dhaka University, Poet Muhammad Nurul Huda and Professor Dr. M.H. Khan, Ex Vice-Chancellor, BUET will deliver speeches on the distinguished National Professors.
Teachers of BUET and the members of BUET Alumni Association, among others, will be present in the programme.
