Poush Mela begins in Bogra
BOGRA, Dec 19, 2017 (BSS) – A five-day long Poush Mela and Bijoy Utsab organized by Banglar Mukh began in the town today.
President of district Awami League Alhaj Momtaj Uddin inaugurated the Mela this afternoon at Shahid Khakon Shishu Park.
A simple function was held on the occasion. District president of Banglar Mukh Hasibul Hassan Moon presided over the function while Police Super Asaduzzaman BPM attended as chief guest. Zilla Parishad chairman Mokbul Hossain took part the function as special guest.
A colorful rally was brought out in the town on the inauguration of the Mela. A total of 42 stalls have been placed at the Mela that drew the history of Bogra. The Mela will continue till December 23.
