Subashish claims 5 wickets as Rangpur fight back
DHAKA, Oct 23, 2018 (BSS)- A five-wicket haul by
Subashish Roy helped Rangpur Division to fight back as they
dismissed Barisal Division to their first innings at 147 and
took 76 runs lead after the second day play of the tier-1
fourth round of four-day National Cricket League held on
Tuesday at Rangpur Cricket Garden in Rangpur.
Rangpur Division started their second innings on the
second day afternoon and scored 77 for 3 at stumps with
Mahmudul Hasan and Sohrawordi Shuvo were on the crease with
27 and 6 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Monir Hossain captured three Rangpur’s wickets conceding
12 runs.
Earlier, Barisal Division resumed their first innings on
the second day with overnight score at 35 for 2 and finally
all out for 147 in reply to a Rangpur’s first innings total
of 147.

Rangpur Division 1st innings – 147 for all, Rakin 46,
Naeem 39, Robiul 17, Gazi 5/40 and Monir 2/11.
2nd innings – 77 for 3, Rakin 30, Mahmudul 27 batting,
Shuvo 6 batting, Monir 3/12.
Barisal Division 1st innings – 147 for all , Rafsan 40,
Kamrul 27, Nuruzzaman 18, Subashish 5/49, Tanbir 2/19 and
Robiul 2/26.
