DHAKA, Oct 23, 2018 (BSS) – United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)’s Democratic Governance Portfolio Manager Mahmuda Afroz paid a courtesy call on Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury at her office here today.
Radwan Mujib Siddiq, UNDP Consultant and grandson of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed progress of ongoing projects assisted by UNDP to enhance efficiency of officials of JS Secretariat and attain efficiency to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mahmuda Afroz apprised the JS speaker of the arrangement of two-day leadership workshop on November 6-7 with a view to increasing efficiency of JS secretariat officials.
She said experienced resource persons from different countries will conduct sessions on intelligence framework and innovation.
The speaker said the workshop will play an important role in enhancing efficiency of officials.
Senior Secretary of JS Secretariat Dr. Md. Abdur Rob Howlader was also present on the occasion, among others.
