No alternative to training to create skilled manpower: Nurul

DHAKA, Oct 23, 2018 (BSS) – Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc today said the government is working relentlessly to reach all services to the doorsteps as the families of the expatriates to help live happily.

“The government is working relentlessly to increase remittance inflow and earn goodwill for the country by sending skilled manpower to other countries… The government is also working to provide trainings to create skilled manpower, ensure safe migration and jobs and to realize compensation,” he said.

The minister was speaking at a function to inaugurate three training centers through video conference at the conference room of Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) here.

Nurul said there is no alternative to technical training to turn the people into skilled manpower, said an official release.

Acting Secretary of the Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry Rownak Jahan was present at the function, chaired by BMET Director General Md Selim Reza.
