President condoles death of Golam Mostafa, MP
DHAKA, Dec 19, 2017 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed deep
shock at the death of Golam Mostafa Ahmed, MP of Gaibandha-1.
In a condolence message, the President prayed for eternal peace of the
departed soul and also conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family
members.
On November 18 last, Golam Mostafa was seriously injured in a road accident
on Dhaka-Tangail Highway in Delduar upazila of Tangail while he along with
his two associates was traveling to Dhaka riding on a microbus from his
constituency.
He was first taken to Mirzapur Upazila Health Complex and later shifted to
Tangail General Hospital. As his condition was deteriorated, he was admitted
to CMH where he succumbed to his injuries today.
Golam Mostafa was elected as MP on March 22 this year after the death of
former MP Manzurul Islam Liton.
