Sri Lanka bat first against England in fifth ODI

COLOMBO, Oct 23, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Sri Lanka captain Dinesh Chandimal won
the toss and elected to bat against England in the fifth and final one-day
international in Colombo on Tuesday.

The hosts, who trail 3-0 in a series badly affected by the Sri Lankan
monsoons, after the opener was washed out, have made two changes in their bid
for a consolation win.

Fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera and left-arm wrist spinner Lakshan Sandakan
come into the XI in place of Lasith Malinga and Amila Aponso.

England have made three changes to their starting line-up with
wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler leading the side in the absence of captain
Eoin Morgan, who is rested.

Liam Plunkett, Sam Curran and Mark Wood come in for Morgan, Chris Woakes
and Olly Stone.
