Cleanliness drive launched in Jamalpur town
JAMALPUR, Oct 23, 2018 (BSS)-The district administration launched a
cleanliness drive this morning with a view to making the district
headquarters a pollution free beautiful town.
Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Kabir inaugurated the drive in Dewanpara area.
During the drive, a good number of illegal structures were removed from
government lands.
A cross section of people, including local municipality mayor,
councillors, government officials, NGO representatives, journalists and
elite, were present on the occasion.
Jamalpur Municipality Mayor Miza Sakhawatul Alam Moni said the drive will
continue for the sake of a pollution and garbage free town.
