DEATH ANNIVERSARY-TIMIR
2nd death anniversary of journalist Timir Dutta tomorrow
DHAKA, Oct 22, 2018 (BSS)-The 2nd death anniversary of journalist and Freedom Fighter Timir Lal Dutta will be observed tomorrow.
On the occasion, recitation from Geeta and prayers will be held at his residence in city’s Bashabo area.
Timir Dutta died at BIRDEM Hospital on October 23 in 2016.
Dutta worked with different dailies, including the Daily Samakal and the Daily Khabor.
He last discharged duties as a senior reporter of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) in September 2016.
He was also the president of Shipping Reporters’ Forum, Bangladesh (SRFB).
