JS body on labour and employment ministry held
DHAKA, Oct 22, 2018 (BSS) – The 20th meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Labour and Employment was held today at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here with Begum Monnujan Sufian in the chair.
State Minister for Labour and Employment M Mujibul Haque, Anwarul Abedin Khan, Shirin Akhter, M Ruhul Amin, Rezaul Haque Chowdhury and Rokhsana Yeasmin Chuti attended the meeting, among others.
The committee discussed in detail about the Bangladesh Labour (Amendment) Bill, 2018 and recommended submitting the report before the parliament by amending some sections of the bill.
Labour and Employment secretary, senior officials of the ministry and JS secretariat were present on the occasion, among others.
