Khulna Div. score 281/7 on day 1 in NCL
DHAKA, Oct 22, 2018 (BSS)- Brilliant half centuries came from the bat of Tushar Imran, Soumya Sarkar and Anamul Haque saw Khulna Division scored 281 for 7 at stumps against Rajshahi Division on the first day of tier-1 fourth round of four-day National Cricket League(NCL) held on Monday at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
Tushar composed a superb knock of 71 off 127-balls featuring nine boundaries while Soumya Sarkar continued his prolific form with 66 runs and also involved 101-run second wicket stand with opener Anamul Haque (56), after Khulna opted to bat first.
Ziaur Rahman and Moinul Islam were on the crease with 37 and 1 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day. Sunzamul Islam was the pick of Rajshahi bowler taking three Khulna’s wickets for 73 runs. He was well supported by Farhad Reza who bagged two wickets giving away 37 runs.
