Dhaka score 288 for all as Nayeem takes 8 wickets in NCL
DHAKA, Oct 22, 2018 (BSS)- Nayeem Hasan grabbed eight wickets as Dhaka Division were all out their first innings at 288 for all at stumps against Chittagong Division on the first day of fourth round tier-2 of four-day National Cricket League held on Monday at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar.
The highlight of Dhaka Division’s innings was Abdul Mazid and Shuvagata Hom’s half centuries.
Opener Mazid composed brilliant 72 runs while Shuvagata Hom played a responsible knock of 57 in the middle after Dhaka lost another opener Saif Hasan for 41.
Nazmul Hossain Milon (35) and Shahadat Hossain (34) added useful contribution to save Dhaka from total embarrassment after the young talented spinner Nayeem played havoc on Dhaka’s innings.
The 17-year old Nayeem Hasan hailed from Chittagong finished his spells with an impressive figure of 8 for 106 runs.
