India’s two leading Bollywood actors to tie knot next month
NEW DELHI, Oct 22 (BSS/Xinhua) – India’s two leading Bollywood actors
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have finally decided to tie the knot next
month, putting an end to months of speculation about their relationship.
In a statement released Sunday evening, 33-year-old Singh and 32-year-old
Padukone said, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy
in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th
November, 2018.”
“We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years
and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love,
loyalty friendship and togetherness,” it added.
Local media reported that the couple, who have acted together in films
such as Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, may opt for a destination
wedding in Italy’s Lake Como with friends and family.
The entire Bollywood has taken to social media to congratulate the couple.
“Congratulations @deepikapadukone and @RanveerOfficial! May you be as
happy as any two people possibly can! Wishing you the world, joyously,”
tweeted actress Richa Chadda.
“Lots and lots of love,” filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted.
