Ryanair first-half profits fall 7% after widespread strikes
DUBLIN, Oct 22, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Ryanair’s profits for the first half of
2018 fell by 7 percent to EUR1.2 billion, the low-cost airline announced
Monday, after suffering widespread strike action by pilots and cabin crew.
In a statement the Irish firm maintained projections for net profits for
the 2019 financial year of between EUR1.1 billion to EUR1.2 billion.
