2 DU students obtain scholarship
DHAKA, Oct 21, 2018 (BSS) – Two meritorious students of the Department of
Biomedical Physics and Technology of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded
“Khondkar Lutfi Rabbani-Nazmunnesa Memorial Scholarship” for their
outstanding academic results in MS examinations.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today
handed over the scholarships among the students as the chief guest at a
function held at VC’s lounge of the university.
The recipients of scholarships are – Anila Pasha and Tabinda Basharat.
Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin presided over the function.
Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Physics and Technology M Abdul
Kadir, one of the donors of the trust fund Prof. Dr. Khondkar Siddique-e-
Rabbani and some other family members, among others, were present on the
occasion.
While addressing the event, DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md.
Akhtaruzzaman urged the students to equip themselves with moral values to
make Bangladesh a prosperous country.
He paid his glowing tribute to the memories of late Khondkar Lutfi
Rabbani and late Nazmunnesa.
