AL believes in people’s welfare: Mostafizur

RANGPUR, Oct 21, 2018 (BSS) – Minister for Primary and Mass Education
Advocate Mostafizur Rahman, MP, has said Awami League (AL) always believes in
the politics of development and ensuring welfare of the common people.

“The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has
implemented massive uplifts in last 10 years taking the nation on the
development highway and turning the country into a global role model in terms
of development,” he said.

The minister said this at a function after inaugurating new Fulbari
municipality Bhaban built at a cost of Taka 2.65 crore under the annual
development programme in Fulbari upazila town of Dinajpur district on
Saturday afternoon as the chief guest.

Mayor of Fulbari municipality Mortuza Sarker Manik presided over the
function participated by the upazila level government officials, leaders of
Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies, civil society members,
professionals and local elite.

Citing the unprecedented development works implemented under the dynamic
leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Rahman said Bangladesh now is
on its journey to become a middle income nation by 2021 and a developed one
by 2041.

He called upon the people to vote for the symbol ‘Boat’ in the next
general elections to bring AL to power again for continuation of progress on
the way to build a developed ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

President of Fulbari upazila AL Haider Ali Shah, its General Secretary
Mushfiqur Rahman Babul, Panel Mayor of Fulbari municipality Mamunur Rashid
Chowdhury, Municipality Engineer Lutful Huda Chowdhury, Officer-in-Charge of
Fulbari Thana Sheikh Nasim Habib, among others, addressed the function.
