Govt. not concerned with newly formed Oikyafron: Hanif
KUSHTIA, Oct 20, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif today said the government is not concerned with the newly floated ‘Jatiya Oikyafront as it is a forum of some isolated leaders.
“The government is not worried at all for the unity of some leaders detached from people for long and they (Oikyafront leaders) themselves concerned about their unity,” Hanif told newsmen after exchanging views with the local leaders at his native resident here.
Of these parties, Hanif said, only BNP and Jamat have their organizational base
In last ten years, BNP-Jamat tried to embarrass the government by raising movements but they failed, so now there is nothing to worry about the unity of some baseless party leaders, he added.
Chairmen of different Union Parishads and local leaders of Awami League were present during views exchange meeting.
