Water levels in 25 rivers rise, 62 fall

DHAKA, Oct 20, 2018 (BSS) – Water levels at 25 rivers stations monitored
by the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have been marked rise and
62 stations recorded fall.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, five river stations were
recorded steady, said a FFWC bulletin issued today.

All the major rivers are flowing below danger level.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna Rivers are in rising trend at few points which
may get steady in the next 24 hours and will start falling subsequently.

The Ganges-Padma and the major rivers of Meghna basin are in falling
trend, which may continue in the next 4-5 days.
