ARREST-SATKHIRA
41 held in Satkhira
SATKHIRA, Oct 20, 2018 (BSS) – Police, in special drives arrested 41
persons from eight upazilas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 8am
this morning.
Sources with the district police said they were picked up from different
areas of the district.
During the drives, Satkhira Sadar police arrested 12 persons, Kalaroa Thana
police arrested four persons, Tala Thana police arrested three persons,
Kaliganj Thana police arrested six persons, Shyamnagar Thana police arrested
seven persons, Assasuni Thana police arrested five persons, Patkelghata Thana
police arrested two persons and Debhata police arrested two persons.
The arrested people are accused in several cases, including charges of
subversive activities, filed with different police stations in the district.
The arrested were sent to jail.
