RAJSHAHI, Oct 19, 2018(BSS) – Speakers at a function here put emphasize on
the need for computer literacy and ICT applications for enhancing the
professional excellence of the bankers’ to sustain in modern banking system.
They observed that no bankers can attain professional success without
knowledge on fundamental computer literacy and its proper applications.
They came up the observation at the closing and certificate-giving session
of a five-day training course titled “Operation on Infinity Banking Solution
and Fundamental of Computer” for 20 branch level second officers of Rajshahi
Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) at its central computer lab here on Thursday
afternoon.
RAKUB, the specialized bank, has been putting in its level best effort to
establish a dynamic leadership along with accountability and transparency in
all its activities to earn confidence of the clients.
ICT Division of the bank organized the training with the main thrust of
making the branch managers and other officers concerned competent and
efficient in computer software and its applications.
RAKUB Managing Director Kazi Alamgir and General Manager Khandaker Golam
Mostofa addressed the function as chief and special guests respectively with
Principal of RAKUB Training Institute Ataur Rahman in the chair.
Speakers said there is no alternative but to bring all banking activities
under digitisation, asking all concerned to make the process a total success.
