3 killed in trailer trucks crash in southeastern Myanmar
YANGON, Oct. 19, 2018 (BSS/XINHUA) – Three people have been killed as two
trailer trucks crashed in Myanmar’s Kayin state, the state-owned Mirror
reported Friday.
A 20-wheeled trailer truck carrying spray bottles crashed into another
similar truck running from the opposite direction on Myawaddy-Kawkareik Asian
highway at 03:00 a.m. local time on Thursday.
Both trucks caught fire just after the fatal crash and burned for about
one and a half hours, sparked by the spray bottles loaded on the former
truck.
Investigation into the incident is underway by local authorities.
