23rd session of 10th parliament begins Sunday
DHAKA, Oct 18, 2018 (BSS) – The 23rd session of the 10th parliament will begin at 4.30pm on October 21.
President M Abdul Hamid convened the session exercising his power bestowed upon him by the Article 72 (1) of the Constitution.
This will be the last session of the current parliament.
The 23rd session of the parliament will be very short, but the proceedings and tenure of the session will be decided at the parliamentary advisory committee meeting on October 21.
Committee President Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will preside the meeting.
The 22nd session of the 10 parliament concluded on September 20. A total of 18 bills were passed in that session.
